That is the only word I can think of when it comes to this cute little
hat. I had some leftover yarn from two different projects and I thought that I would try my hand at some colorwork in the form of a baby hat. Wow! Was this ever easy and it went so fast. I feel like these projects are really satisfying because I have something completed in a couple of days.
In a couple of days that is, if you are obsessed [insert eerie organ music here].
Hmmm.... now all I need to do is clean, some laundry, sleep.
[Yawn] Still on the path...

Jen, what a cute little baby hat! I love the fair isle part - I've not tried that before, and I really want to. What size baby do you think it would fit? I don't have many babies to make stuff for right now, just my neice. I would love to make a cute hat for her! She's 4 months. Em
Hey Em - and for anyone else interested in the fit of this hat - just wanted you to know that this fits my 6mo old girl and she has a big head. So, if you were to knit this for a newborn to six months, it should be just fine. It doesn't cover her ears much though.
My next project will be a baby earflap hat. Gotta love the earflaps!
Aw, that hat is adorable!
I LOVE IT. Was it difficult?
No, this hat wasn't difficult at all! That is why I call it an obsession - I just couldn't put it down until I was finished. It was a nice introduction to colorwork too. You can find the pattern through the link on this post.
Your hat is DELIGHTFUL and well made.
Congratulations on a finish
