Are frosted. Finally! I had a little too much fun with the pastry bags and toothpicks. But that's how you dress up a cookie that's lost its shape in the baking process.

Did you use royal icing or something else?
I'm not a fan of royal icing but I'm looking for alternatives to regular buttercream.
The icing is so cute you hardly notice the actual shape of the cookie. I'll have to try more creative things like that.
